As a side note, I *LOVE* my Shokz OpenRun bone conducting headphones. They aren’t isolating, obviously, but they have good sound and great comfort (I wear mine ALL day —- and I have glasses).  As a bonus, no sweat.... :)

Never throw away your lottery tickets. They can be used as losses against other winnings. If you win $1,000 and have $1,000 in losses, you owe no taxes on the $1,000.

I never see this particular metric in headphones testing, and it’s frustrating for me because it’s the primary reason why I don’t wear the older Bose noise cancelling headphones that I have when I commute by BART:

The only reason I close and app like this is if I want to remove it from the list so I can get to other apps quicker.

Next they’ll tell us a weekly, hard reboot is a waste of time as well. Who manages their time to the seconds? If you're that busy, hire some assistants, you must be a member of the real life Roy family.

This posting treats all apps as the same in background behavior. Since whichever OS doesn’t treat background(ed) apps as the same (e.g. some are granted ‘heartbeats’ and permitted to signal ‘home’) then this advice is at best a large approximation of curious motivation.

Yep.  It’s 100% organization.  I’ll keep 5 or so apps open most of the time, and close anything I don’t use actively.  Keeps the list of open apps easy to use.

I get lost switching between apps if there are many open. Sometimes it feels like the os shuffles the tab order to be funny.

Android has the small three vertical dash thingy at the bottom with a helpful “Close All Apps” button that appears.

I have an app that loses its connection to Bluetooth over the course of a day and if you don’t force quit it, it will crash repeatedly. Force quit - reconnects just fine.

I don’t use iOS, but I close all of my apps when I’m done with them except for a couple of apps that I pin. It’s not that I’m worried about battery or anything, it’s that I like to keep my active app list clean. When I’m switching back and forth between multiple apps, I don’t want to have to scroll through apps that

I do practice good internet hygiene.

I mean, if a character has the ability to instantaneously change their body at will, I feel like it would be stranger for them NOT to be non-binary.

Even by TERFs own rules, they wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.

“Your gender is determined by your biology! Sex and gender are the same!”

“My biology says that I can change

It would be kind of funny if these people who just returned them go back out in a couple months and buy them “refurbished” at a discount.

O_O

Still unsure why everyone is lamenting the lack of a Netflix app. Would much rather have a “Golden Girls” app called VRthur.

Search for any product on Amazon and nearly everything in the results is an advertisement. The people selling their products are paying Amazon in multiple ways to be listed there. You might believe that what shows up first are the highest rated or lowest price or any other “logical” thing, but it is not true. Well ove
