So, the S24 Ultra only has 5X optical zoom but the S23 Ultra has 10x optical zoom........will have to make the call between 50mp 5x vs 10mp 10x.

Same. Even with a case that makes it somewhat recessed, the pen gets clicked out while in my pocket (my phone is the only thing in my pocket and I don’t click the pen with my hand).

The “ground-level” heroes in the Netflix shows worked better as a series because they were special-effects heavy. In Inhumans, they basically killed most of the powers so they could save on budget. Eternals would have faced the same problem.

I have the 2020 Kia Niro PHEV and have enjoyed it. We enjoyed it so much that when it came time to get another vehicle, we chose the 2020 Kia Niro EV. Obviously, the EV is more fun to drive and gets the most daily use, but we still take the PHEV for our road trips. Both are good cars with decent room. 100% would do it

Probably more useful than the context menu button that I never hit. Most of the time, if I have two hands on the keyboard, it’s because I’m typing. If I have one hand, it’s my left (and the context menu button is on the right), so it’s more convenient to use my mouse for that functionality.

I just read this announcement as “Prime is going up $36/yr**”..........

I assume Disney’s lawyers are top-notch (based on how they handled the DeSantis situation). But, Trademark doesn’t have the same time limit. Are these designs not also Trademarked?

I thought that the $20/mo gave you unlimited use of ChatGPT 4 + DALL-E and a few other things. Using the API was when it was cost per XXX transactions...... Maybe I’m mistaken.

especially as Templeton the Rat........

I heard on the TechMeme Ride Home podcast that they were Zigbee. Which would be great because I already have a lot of Zigbee devices.

OneNote exists and is a solid product.

Shadow and Bone season 2 was just “fine”. But the Crows were the characters that I enjoyed the most. Killing Six of Crows as a series is a bad move that I hope they regret.  Let the rights expire and have someone else pick it up.

If Justin Wilson isn’t on it, my favorite isn’t on it...... I guarantee.

I just assumed they would buy the IP on how to make the product and then commission new batches as needed.  But your approach is probably better.

Please fix whatever ad service y’all use.  One of the ads in the rotation is a fake McAfee ad that takes over the full screen.  Your site is compromised.

I mean.....the lead image looks kind of rough.....so.....probably.  Live-service or not.

I’ll be so glad when the world is open and supportive enough that someone’s sexuality isn’t news any more.  I mean, “good for them”, but we shouldn’t really care because it’s not like they’re going to be coming around looking for a data (besides, I’m very happily married).

It’s because you got an email that they’ve identified as an ad and you have your filters set to show you everything. That isn’t an ad from Microsoft. I have a Hotmail account that I’ve been using since the 90s that has no ads. Be pissed off at whoever sold your email, not Microsoft.

I’m amazed at how much residual “M$-hate” there still is in the tech-blog industry. They look for any excuse to complain about things that every company does. And yet, when Apple/Google/Facebook/etc. does something similar, they either ignore it or talk about how awesome it is that they care about your feedback.

53m? The punishment certainly doesn’t fit the crime. Apple has that in the couch coushins..... 53m is a rounding error in their penny jar.  It’s a slap on the wrist with a feather.
