I could understand if it was say a 20 year old satellite, but if the satellite has been in orbit for 5 years, shouldn’t proper de-orbit technology have been included? I understand that there’s a multi-year design process, but we’re still talking about a process that should have started at a point where we know we need

Yeah, I kinda see the government as being stupid here. If my choice is to either pay or not link and then you’re going to “punish” me for not linking.......

Wait, you expect Gizmodo writers to actually do any research before posting something?  You must be as new here as a kite sail.....

How about *MORE* sea shanties. I’m all in for that. I would just sail in open water doing nothing just for the shanties.

I’d rather buy this one for a little more. It’s waterproof without the case for shallower depths but still has a case for deeper use. It’s got a fake 6K, but the 4K is @ 60fps. Even has a touchscreen on the back and a selfie screen on the front (non-touch). All-in-all, the better choice for similar money.

Maybe I slept through too much of my Civics class, but I thought the President / Governor was the head of the Executive branch.....and the Executive branch was in charge of ENFORCING the laws.

So, am I the only one that thought it seems like a lawn chair lounger with a back?

I felt like the show was too much of a rehash of the Mandalorian.  That Hayden was in there as Darth Vader was cool.  But the storyline of needing to take a kid somewhere just felt like Mando and Grogu.

I’m not the original poster, but I understand the sentiment. Some people like to watch shows over and over and there are psychological studies about it. But I’d rather consume something new to me than to rehash older content. There’s some stuff that I’ll watch over, but that’s rare and it’s usually more of a

The company I work for basically announced this as policy early on. Basically, you’re free to play with the technology as long as you aren’t sharing proprietary information. Even being in more of a developer role, we’re very restricted even on using the services from the API layer......all projects have to be

My comment was made in 2014. 4 years before he passed.

It’s self-checkout.  So the tip is for me, right?  Kind of like the leave a penny / take a penny jar?  Leave a tip / take a tip?

At a minimum, they should have had like alternating restaurants. Rest Area 1, CFA. Rest Area 2, something else (McD’s, BK, etc.). Rest Area 3, back to CFA. At least that way, you know that there would be SOME kind of option.

So, can’t those banks just start publishing really bad credit worthiness ratings for the state of Florida. Like F—? If enough of them do it, it’s bound to move the needle even if not based in any shape, form, or fashion on actual fiscal analysis.  When a state’s credit rating tanks, it makes it harder for them to

Flour?  Isn’t that how it started in Last of Us?

Why WOULDN’T you have an ad supported tier and show some of your older content. Makes sense to me. Not everyone wants to pay for a streaming service and this gets some (ad) money from them without the expense of creating new shows. That’s basically what movies have done in the past (theater -> buy/rentals -> HBO ->

LEGO: Star Wars.....any of them.

The same way you get around any other location based block?  VPN?
