I’ve used AVC for years —- back in the pre-streaming service days, I used it instead of Napster to fill cheap MP3 players for my kids.......they’ve gotten a little bit spammy in more recent years, but still do a good job when needed.

I would generally prefer to listen to the edited audio later.  I can multi-task (i.e. do the dishes or go shopping or whatever) and I can play it back at a faster speed.  Plus, they’ve taken out a lot of the flubs and fluff.  About the only thing that I really want to watch live is sports (but I don’t watch much)…
