My view when I bought my house was: Mortgage payment is near the same as monthly rent. Interest decreases tax burden. At the end of a lease, my return is guaranteed to be ZERO. When I’m done with my house, my return *might* be positive. Over a span of time, owning the house is going to be better. But I never viewed it

That was my thought. I consider my house PAYMENT a whole lot more than my house VALUE when dealing with my monthly budget/spending allowances.

Because most teams don’t already have a Farvre in front of him......

Sprint’s service is still unlimited. It’s just that if you go over X GB (I think it was 20-something GB) in a month, the remainder of that month, your service will be slowed during peak usage periods. Outside of peak times, you won’t notice and if you never go over X GB, you won’t notice. So it’s still unlimited.

I wonder if this might finally give Windows Phone a little bit of a bump in market share. There are some really decent Windows Phones that are affordable compared to many Android phones (and don’t even talk about Apple being affordable). Sure, you can get devices that are a rev or two behind, but you can get a

I need Google to open up an API for this feature. I have app ideas.

You know that Google’s reverse image search will take a URL, right? No need to download it —- just right click and copy image URL. The plugin only saves you the process of copy/paste.

This is one of the best points. I use both. Bing is my default because I collect all of those points —- free Xbox Live! But if I really need to find something, I’ll be using both —- and alternate queries and advanced query options, etc. I think Bing is “prettier” for the image and video search (but Google’s image

Command line is great for automatic tasks (batch files / shell scripts). But then you wouldn’t need all of the fancy “edit” features of Duck and could just go with the built in command line FTP client for your OS of choice.

There are some adults at work that could use this, too.....

AdBlockers exist because ad networks became obnoxious (pop-overs, pop-unders, flash ads, interstitials, auto-play videos, etc.). When it was just banner ads and left/right column ads.....maybe some inlines, people weren’t nearly as annoyed. The more annoying the ads, the more driven to block them.

Hyper Edition with the mod chip.

Shut upShut up Shut up SHUT UP! Get off my news feed! I do not want to even contemplate the thought. I have to trust JJ. Go away!

That’s my thought......it isn’t “turn off wi-fi when you aren’t using it” but “turn off wi-fi when none is around”. Same for apps in the background, there are some apps that actually do stuff in the background, so turn THEM off, not “all apps” [and by stuff, I mean CPU intensive or data intensive stuff].

I always go back to NetHack. One of these days I’ll actually bring the amulet up without “questionable ethics”.

And it’s really only for an 8% better chance of winning the game by having home field advantage........

It’s in your browser......unless you have them disabled.

Can Amazon spend some of the effort making Windows Phone support Prime Video? That would be awesome, thanks.

To be fair, it’s Google that broke the integration between Microsoft’s platforms and Google calendar. I’ve been grandfathered in based on using it for a while, but I suspect that integration will be breaking “soon”. Google also broke the Windows Phone integration with YouTube [if you want a good YouTube experience on

I do not have brand loyalty.......however, I do have loyalty to my content (I paid for it and don’t want to pay for it again). So it makes it really hard to switch platforms when your content is locked into a single silo. I’ve gone with Amazon for my digital movies —- other than Windows Phone, I can get to the content
