It really comes down to the content channels you use and which platform they are on. If the content you want is already on the PS3, then there's not really a need to upgrade. If there's content on the Roku that you want but the PS3 doesn't have (and you don't have another device that supports it), then you should

I would have liked to have seen 48fps 2D included as a review option (even if you have to cobble together a pair of 3D glasses with both of the same lenses). I think that the 48fps 2D would be the optimal view.....all of the benefits of the higher frame rate without all of the detraction of the 3D.

I would have expected a comet to be included in the Chinese records they were reviewing, so those would have either been called out specifically or lumped in.....

Around 30 years ago.......as would be typical of most audience members (elementary school is probably 20 to 40 years ago for most people here).

The updated theory on warp drives hints that we may be able to visit "nearby" stars within a reasonable time. Of course, currently there's a theoretical problem of "stopping without obliterating the solar system we stop in"........

I've known about the dollar and paper-clips trick since elementary school. It was in several of the magic books that I read as a kid.

+1 to you sir.

11/12/13 14:15:16 sounds like a pretty major date and will happen next year......less than a year from today.

I was constantly dropping connections when my neighbors would come home (and turn on their router — they didn't leave it on during the day). My other router had channel hopping, but I'd still get knocked off frequently. I switched to a new router with 5GHz and use the SSID associated with that spectrum with no

Actually, most of my non-portable devices are all wired......so it's mainly tablets and laptops on the 5GHz band.....and they are doing just fine. (Single story home built in the early 90s but with a very open floorplan.)

I solved this problem by going 5GHz. All of my neighbors are still on 2.4GHz and my signal is free and clear. The router I bought actually supports SSIDs on both bands, so I have 2.4GHz, too —- but most of my devices are all on my 5GHz band.

Not necessarily an open source license, but the source should be published in order to be patented......so that when the patent expires, once can replicate the patented software.

With mechanical patents, you have to publish how it works in order to receive a patent. After it expires, anyone can copy the product. Take a look at most of the patents that aren't software or design patents.

I don't remember the name, but I was using an app on my HTC Wizard that turned it into a remote mouse and keyboard.....it was quite convenient because I had the slide out keyboard and the screen was absolute position......made clicking on things easy since you didn't need to find the cursor.

Yes.....but the banners keep coming back.......AHHHH.

I hear rumors of "play from SkyDrive"......

I know every parent has their own level of comfort, so I hope the settings can be tweaked. Also, what's the target age range? I don't want my 15 year old having access to my content, but I don't want to restrict them to "baby" content, either. This MIGHT be a solution to that problem......or might not.

I don't know WHHHHYYYYYYY, she swallowed a fly. Perhaps she'll DIIIIIEEE.
