Better choices for headlines:

Why didn't they just check his foursquare feed? :)

The rules have changed in the past three or four years. The secret used to be that you never went to the store with the deal, you took the ad to Wal-Mart. Price matching FTW!

Next evolution of the mirror-pic: mirror pic with the front facing camera

Oh, *I'm* not worried about the mercury......but the wife acceptance factor took a huge hit when one shattered on our tile floor. And to keep from having to go through dealing with HER reaction, I've decided buying the more expensive LED bulbs is worth it. Plus I like the light they produce.

Because I've been a TWC customer for years using a modem they supplied AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. It's not like they are coming out to replace it with newer technology. It's basically a hidden rate increase.

If you pick a person because of the color of their skin or the shape of their genitals, you're doing it wrong. You should be picking based on how closely they follow your beliefs.

I'm one of them. And so is my wife. Not sure about my youngest. (my two older ones bought their own replacement phones — but it wasn't because they hated Windows Phone per say, they broke the charging ports). At one point, we had 5 Arrives in use at my house.

I've already decided I'm not buying any more CFL bulbs and will only buy LEDs. Mostly because my wife is overly paranoid and made me go all hazmat when one was dropped on the floor. Plus it's inconvenient to take them to IKEA for recycling. LEDs last longer, look better, and are cheaper to run. Over the life of

Well, we know that it gets 6 hours to the liter........which is better than my car. 30mpg @ 60mph means that I get 2 gallons per hour.

I've had my eye on the Subaru Baja which should fit the bill as a good choice for this list, too.

I bought one of these at Fry's several years ago and it does a pretty good job as long as I don't walk past it when I'm tuned in to certain channels. I'm interested in some of the "flat" ones to see if I can mount them high out of the walkway.

And then, after they buy RIM (at a significant discount), Nokia would also crash (since their buddy-buddy deal would be less valuable) and MS could gobble them up as well. Then, MS would be a heavy player in the mobile patent space which would ensure that they make money on EVERY phone sold regardless of OS.

I'll take four! (so that I can also use them as controllers along the lines of a Wii U on the 720).

With WLM, I can do *FREE* screen sharing with my family in order to fix their computer problems. With Skype, I have to pay for a "pro" account in order to use that feature. If this functionality isn't available for "WLM" users, then it will be a travesty.

Honestly? The Amazon Fire (original, as that's what I've got) is a really good size. I can palm it, so it can be held well. It's servicable with one hand. But it's not so tiny that I can't use it for the tasks I want.

One of the big selling points of fka:Metro apps is that a single app will run on your PC as well as your "tablet" (aka RT) and eventually your phone (and Xbox?). A cohesive ecosystem where all of your stuff is everywhere you want it to be.

Per the article: " that start to rot away the second you open the packaging" and "are made from a soft vegetable-based plastic that will completely biodegrade in just six months"

If they fully degrade in 6 months, how long are they actually wearable?

If you were really reacting to the floor falling out from underneath you, you wouldn't care about the perspective being wrong for those first few split seconds. Once you realized you weren't falling, you'd worry about perspective.
