I think the biggest problem that she might be having is the fact that it is now a sort of shopping list for a bad person. "Hey look, there's where little Louie lives, now I know where to park the van."

@Alex Sharifi: One way that I have found them to be very helpful is sometimes it is hard to tell what your actual exposure is because of the LCD brightness. On a bright day outside, or in a dark room, it can sometimes throw your perception off. A quick look at the histogram can tell you if you are lighter or darker…

@youareme7: Actually, from what Ihave read, that is incorrect. If you have not been to the site before, www.Luminous-Landscape.com has some pretty thorough, yet understandable tutorials. Here is his take on the matter.
