Because wages have been flat for a decade & the middle class is dying off. At the same time banks have lowered their standard of who they’ll lend money to.
it’s just another money tool. If you’re 45 and your job and living situation are reasonably secure, and you know you’ll be driving the vehicle for 10 years just like your last 2, why not? Add the GAP insurance and use someone else’s money.
So people are buying SUV’s because they’re stuck? Is it possible they’re buying them because they like them maybe? Is it even possible?
Put a pan underneath. There’s no way around dumping the filter’s contents unless you let the car sit for a while (after a few months, my oil filter empties itself into the pan).

It’s not just a single company that will operate without minimum wage, benefits, etc - it’s an entire…
The cost of Uber is already inline with the cost of a taxi. The reason why Uber rides are cheaper is because Uber is throwing billions of dollars of venture capital down the drain to try to squeeze out the competition.
2nd Gear: Wait, so the company with no realistic production plans claims that is lost 2 billion in sales based on the cosmetic appearance of competitor’s truck? Despite the fact that most of the design elements they claim as proprietary seem to be lifted right off 6-year old MAN streamlined prototype?
All the benefits of having employees but none of the pesky responsibilities.
Executives at a lot of companies reach for the Maalox whenever a court chips away at the “independent contractor” model. It’s used and abused all over the race-to-the-bottom economy; ride-hailing services are just the highest-profile example.
