I would guess it’s not finished.
I would guess it’s not finished.
Yeah. If you are shopping what could basically be called the M3 version of the Model 3 I really doubt you would consider a base Model S. I could see some overlap in prices.
It probably won’t though. I’m betting that’s the higher end option. There is only so much you can expect out of a car for $35k.
Focus EV range is like 76 miles. All Tesla has to do is hit something like 200miles to make it a much better option.
Worst COTD
The 85kWh battery in the Model S is rated for 265 miles (EPA rating) I think. My expectation is the model 3 would have a smaller battery pack. The car is smaller but is using more steel so I’m not sure about the weight difference. I might expect that a smaller, slightly lighter Model 3 could get 300 miles using the…
I’m probably going to reserve one but I’m not waiting in line. I’m also waiting until I actually see the damn thing.
Don’t forget he’s behind Tesla and spacex employees and then current owners.
“ Does Jalopnik report on everything Tesla? No they don’t.”
I’m pretty sure it’s big to a lot of people interested in cars. Even if you don’t like Tesla the fact that an upstart car manufacturer looks like it is probably going to survive was unimaginable until Tesla.
Rented a Chrysler 200. The only thing I liked about was the shift dial. Knobs are a huge wate of space.
Modding it would be better than what happens to most of these. Some dude finds an immaculate example “parting it out”.
It’s a TSi AWD.
Just wait till all the guys who grew up during the Sport Compact craze have money around retirement. ADSM this clean could be very sought after. I know I really want a clean 2g GSX.
It’s an $8 hardware store boost controller away from 250hp but at the same time I think it would be a crime to mod this example.
Yeah you never see an unmolested version but everyone talks about how unreliable they are. I drove mine stock for a few years and never had an issue.
Some of the shit they sell on facebook groups. To find one in this condition is amazing.
I’m DSMless and your garage is going to make me make bad financial decisions. My 99 GS-t spyder was that silver. Everyone thinks they are super unreliable but it’s mostly because they are the ones with shitty mods. I never really had any problems with a fully stock DSM.
You never see a DSM in this good of shape. Most are “bro’d out”. I’d pay a premium for a 2g in this condition (sorry the 2g is just much sexier than the 1g). Still a nice and good buy, assuming you don’t want to DD it.
