The only real new thing Tesla mentioned is lane changing and people are freaking out like these cars are going to be running over people left and right. Most of this tech is already on your friendly neighborhood S-class.

These features are not that much different then adaptive cruise, lane departure correction, etc. I’m sure they’ve gone through extensive alpha testing and they believe the functions themselves are ready for the public road but not necessarily ready for all drivers yet. That’s why real world drivers doing a beta test

That’s what the Alpha tests are for.

I’ve had aluminized steel before on an exhaust and that hit rusted out faster than normal steel pipes. Not that this steel aluminum hybrid has to be aluminized steel.

What in the actual f.....

Yeah but it can only do 1/4 pulls, weighs 5000lbs and doesn’t handle a road course. So basically the same as a hellcat.

I do agree but am still supriaed at the grill they use. I never wanted a prius or anything that looked like it was electric. I didn’t even considered electric vehicles viable until I saw the roadsters. If they went too crazy with the s it probably would hurt the sales of people who just want a nice car that happens to

In my opinion they are minivans without the utility of a sliding door. I still won’t drive a minivan but I will drive a crossover...
