The only real new thing Tesla mentioned is lane changing and people are freaking out like these cars are going to be running over people left and right. Most of this tech is already on your friendly neighborhood S-class.

These features are not that much different then adaptive cruise, lane departure correction, etc. I’m sure they’ve gone through extensive alpha testing and they believe the functions themselves are ready for the public road but not necessarily ready for all drivers yet. That’s why real world drivers doing a beta test…

I agree I was just making a joke. The Model S would be a serious contender if they could keep the batteries cool enough to make a lap. Right now it goes into limp mode.

Rented some Hyundai, think it was a Tuscon. Accellerator was hinged at the floor. I usually drive with just my toe on the bottom corner so it didn’t work out. Wouldn’t buy over this exact issue. Also, does it compete with the Explorer? Because the explorer is way nicer inside.
