Used to have a '93 (I think?) Skylark with a supercharged 3800 series. That thing hauled major ass.

Whew, glad I'm not the only boyfriend who instinctively bares his ass when threatened with intimacy!
I can answer this at least somewhat....
Jeff is a New Yorker and thus was shocked that we had 65 MPH undivided highways next to residential neighborhoods. The 85 MPH toll road blew his mind and at a brisk 90 MPH the V6-powered 300 we were in stayed as planted as Ann Veal. It also tracks extremely well for a RWD car.
Yep, that car (and the turbo versions) were frickin' awesome. I'd love to find a good one again but they're basically unicorns at this point in time. To be honest, even the 1l 3-pots were quicker than you'd expect due to the low weight.

Well, you've gone to 1 end of the extreme spectrum with the Ferrarri, I think it would be great if you looked into one of the Jalopnik sacred cows; an E30, a Miati, or a brown manual 240 wagon :D
Funny that this should show up.... found this http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/… for sale in my town a few days ago, and I've been considering buying it. Hoping someone can answer a question for me, though; considering the owner recently replaced a whole bunch of cooling/accessory parts, is it reasonable to think…
yo dawg, I heard you liked ripped off content
I see a couple tanks I'd like to warp, if ya know what I mean
{What you don't see are countries like China & Russia joining in the fight in worldly {brotherhood to stop evil, all they do is linger back & keep building their countries {weapons, stockpiling them & getting rich off of manufacturing.
No, it's not. Which is why ISIS will win this war, even if they lose.
Good! As a Canadian, I'd rather we just weren't there at all, but let's be honest; we're not exactly fighting against a technological powerhouse here. They WANT us to spend as much money as possible to blow up their cheap old shit, so let's use up the cheap old shit we've already got (which is still superior to…
I find the act of shifting relaxing in and of itself. Something satisfying about a mechanical connection you can feel that just makes you feel good inside :D
If this kind of thing floats your boat, go watch "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" RIGHT NOW.
I jumped into an e36 before driving an e30, too; now that I have, I wish I would've gotten into an e30, but I still love my e36 and I'm not going to be getting rid of it anytime soon.
This right here. The modern technology just isn't worth the hassle, and I prefer the simplicity and "connected" feeling of an older car.
I wonder how much those new bombs cost to build?

This is a very good price. A few years ago I was looking for one of these; sedans are dime a dozen, but it was really hard to find a decent wagon for less than $10k. Spruce it up a bit & I'm sure you could re-sell at a significant profit.
