There's only a few things on that car you can't do yourself relatively inexpensively. While yes, the windows and window motors are a PITA, they are typically pretty reliable cars. They are, of course, getting to that age now where the OEM bushings will pretty much all need replacement, but upgrading to poly (for most

I just picked one of these up as the girlfriends' d/d (and to teach her how to drive manual), and despite it being pretty slow at low rpms, other than that it's quite an entertaining little car to drive, with excellent handling. 230,000 kms on it and not much in need of repair, either, so I'm gonna go ahead & disagree

As a pretty left-wing, liberal guy, I used to be very much in favour of unionization; I definitely agree with all of the good things they've had their hand in.

Didn't see this before I posted it myself; glad someone else thought of it! :D

Any love for the Buick GS400?

Naw man, I've always liked BMW sedans better than coupes. They just look -right- with 4 doors :D

You've never listened to Aesop Rock, have you?

Disappointed about the Firefly. It's nowhere near as mundane as it's been made out to be.

C63 AMG for the win

fellow Windsorite reporting for duty :D

I don't think enough people are familiar with these; I had been looking for a good one for a long time here in Canada, they are becoming near impossible to find. They are ridiculously fun little cars, and have had a tendency to dominate rallies up here anyway. This is actually a really good price for one in this shape.

Sounds pretty awesome, but too 'box-full-of-bees' for me. I'll take a C63 AMG over this as best V8 exhaust note ever, by far.

This is actually a legitimate point; we probably should recognize it, between consenting adults. Anything that is not a consenting adult, such as a computer, however...

That's part of what's making it so hard to find! :)

I'm doing the same repairs on my E36 right now, and I can definitely attest to how difficult it is to find a nose panel!

Mine was ultra-reliable as well; great little engine! I certainly hope so :)

I have driven the GT500, and I can tell you from experience it is the an irresponsible amount of power not only for its price, but for the street at any price. That doesn't mean it's the cheapest power per dollar of the Mustang family.

Baghdad Bob was the man!!!

I still see quite a few of these around... the m3's s50/52 engine fits in there pretty nicely too, makes a gnarly sleeper :)
