The 4.9l pushrod motors in '90's Caddies are nigh-indestructable as long as you maintain them somewhat. The Northstar will blow at least 1 head gasket a year; my mom's boss bought one brand new in '94 and replaced his first head gasket at 15,000 miles.

I'm gonna have to laugh at the thought of anything built by GM lasting 1 million miles, much less 3 million, unless you work at the factory and somehow convinced all the other employees making your truck to actually install all the parts, bolts, and nuts. "3 out of 4 is good enough" is still the word in Big 3 plants.

Should be interesting. Why doesn't Tesla have a race team? Those things are fast.

Love the P1800S; definitely the most beautiful Volvo I've seen

Very well said, couldn't agree more.

As much as I don't like the idea of forcing companies to do something unprofitable (because we DO pay for it, in higher costs for combustion engine vehicles... they gotta recoup those costs somehow!) this just reminds me of the anti-smog regs in California from the 70's/80's;

Supercapacitors like graphene are going to massively change the electric car game; until they become technologically feasible, however, I don't think the market share of electric cars is going to change much at all.

I'm planning on doing a W123 restomod in the next 4 or 5 years, just have to wait until I've got room for another project car :D

Lincoln needs a goddamn huge TownCar, just like they always had;

Theres a lawyer in Toronto with a 911 Turbo (it was one of the tests for the Turbo) whose been d/d'ing it since new, he's gotta be getting pretty close to that number by now, too.

"The whole thing is worth reading."

The 25 year import rule was actually made by Mercedes-Benz, who basically forced the govt' to enact it.

4.) It isn't good enough, and never will be

My 94 deville is unstoppable in the winter. 4.9 pushrod v8 :D

Toronado?

I've got a '94 Deville with a 4.9 pushrod v8, andI'll be damned if the thing isn't reliable to a fault. It's got plenty of torque, and no real torquesteer to think of. It's a land yacht and obviously not much of a drivers' car, but it gets me and the family around pretty comfortably (and gets pretty good highway

I had one of those 3-cyl Metros (badged as a Chevy Sprint, mind you)

You mean the Dinan badge is a huge tip-off that someone spent way more money than they should have? :D

Addendum to the double-front wheel thing....

Zombie-proof videogaming?
