I just wish people here on Jez could actually accept that this guy who pimps out vulnerable, underage girls is a bad guy. There seem to be so many comments defending him because they want to uphold the honor of BLM. It’s stuff like that that makes people not trust the movement.

This website drills it into you. BLM = good. Cops = bad.

The only time someone on Jezebel doesn’t believe the victim is the time when someone from BLM is the bad guy. Strange. It’s almost like you are ideologically blinkered.

Films tend to be about extraordinary people, particularly superhero films. I don’t think “the pupil surpassing the master” is necessarily a bad trope. If it’s played by a black woman then good, one more diverse actor in the film., right?
