They think they're wits. They're half right.
Gah! If that's Anti-Fleetwood Mac, they've got nothing to be afraid of.
I've always felt Mirage was an unsung under-rated minor masterpiece. I'm glad AV Club has recognized it.
Skinny Puppy? Cool.
I don't have kids.
What problem would that be? I'm sympathetic to working parents.
I don't see it. He wishes he had more time for his kid. It's pretty clear he wanted to but couldn't due to constraints. His son found himself in a similar situation; it wasn't petty revenge.
I don't agree with her interpretation of the song and she's missing the context. It's about the systemic demands society puts on fathers, especially in the 70's where women were less likely to work to help support a family and the economy was tanking. My salesman father used to travel a lot because he had no choice. I…
Well that's better than "Corey Feldman to star in Goonies sequel"
The film version changed my view of film. This version was well done but it would be hard to live up to the Peter Yates version for me. I think they're both right in many regards, but Toronto has some really bright spots and if the condo boom ever settles down and flaunts its ethnic diversity, it can be a world class city. The food is…
I liked Goodnight Mommy too, but it could have used some trimming and it was more suspense than horror and mostly kept me guessing. I liked that it left some room for thematic interpretation. It Follows was style in search of a horror movie more than anything. The Babadook was more effective and satisfying that both.
The kid is his sister and his daughter!!
Wonder if the flying horse rape is going to fly on stage.
