Kittens! Also, deaf cats rule!!

I’m planning a bit more decluttering tomorrow, aided by my noise cancelling headphones, and probably a pleasant walk in the afternoon. I’ve been feeling stressed these last couple of weeks, partly self induced but also a few external things have played on my mind (hence my self imposed internet sabbatical). 

It exists, but it seems to be something of a lottery when it comes to adult assessment. 

I delivered a letter to my GP this week, formally asking for an Autism assessment; I’ve asked in the past and got nowhere but this was a form letter drafted by a solicitor on behalf of the National Autistic Society, so it may get a response! I'd just like to add that any item of clothing I've bought after a night shift will fit handily into this category. I really do not make wise sartorial choices in that condition; I have bought clothes without looking at the size, so you can imagine how much attention I pay to colour /style 🙄

I have so many questions....

I'm setting myself a few achievable goals for the year (Not resolutions!), mainly for my own self worth, but l really wouldn't want to guess what the future has in store 

It must be the post-Christmas /New Year blues or something, but I can’t help but think that as bad as we all thought 2019 was, 2020 is going to be worse (on both a personal and bigger scale).

Im still slightly embarrassed I had to have "hot mess" explained to me; I thought it was more of a compliment (they're a mess, but they're hot!) than an insult... 

I always approach Book threads with a certain amount of apprehension; I get excited reading the recommendations but I know I won’t read them. Meanwhile, the books I’m reading tend to feature exploding helicopters quite often...

I have no plans whatsoever for the new year and as much as I would like to be out doing something outrageous on New Year's Eve, I know it ain't happening. I will journal more this year, continue to thin out clutter and be generally more efficient in life. That's the ideal, anyway...

I got pretty much everything I asked for, but I also got guilt tripped heavily because of it. I also had a stomach bug.
