I realize Cali is expensive, but $62/hr for what is largely a manual labor gig is fascinatingly high. $120K/yr is more than a whole lot of college-educated, experienced employees across many fields make.  

I thought pretty much all cars let you shift out of drive into neutral, even while moving.  Is this not the case?  Surely older cars allow this....is this now something newer cars lock you out of?

I’m massively confused: isn’t a true “robotaxi” a car that is completely autonomous? And if yes, then why is this technology not being rolled out first for all the chumps that dropped $15K for it? Or are the taxis just everyone’s car who has agreed to get FSD and want to pimp it out for use as a cab?
