Honestly, I would never say I would never get one - I mean, I'd get one if it came to a reasonable price and there was a good reason to get one, but so far, there's no indication that it'll have any exclusives I can see myself being that bothered about :/

well yes, they could just have a chunky barrel, but that would look pretty crap - the prongs here would help keep the aim true (something being spun forwards for 20cm is not gunna be accurate at-all) so the theory for a portable rail gun in these designs is alright.

Well it's a rail gun - the main tech behind it kinda requires that structure...

It's business. If they wedge it into an established franchise, that get's it out there and makes sure people know that when they do do a pirate game, it'll be awesome. Also, it's the main reason this AC game sold.
