Gin.

I'm glad other people are hopping on the "who are we kidding?" train… If we're wrong, then, well, good for us…

Genius Next Door always makes me so sad. I still don't understand what it means, but I think it's great.
EDIT: The whole album, Far is really good. Probably her most consistent effort.

I feel like AV Club's typical headline sass is missing here… shouldn't it have been something like "Chris Brown celebrated his charge for threatening a woman by dropping a romantic dance jam?" I mean, I know that's not great but this just isn't up to AV Club standards…

Just realized I read it as "Pirate Gold," which I assume is the joke… I was just pretty amused by the idea of a 55 film series about pornographic pirates… Alas…

I'll never forget when my friend informed me that Birdo is a dude… blew my mind…

Literally (and I do mean literally) the only thing that was going to get me to care about the Oscars was a win for Stallone, and here it is!

True. It would probably be better to at least get the list to October or November and release it a few months from now…

This is awesome. I have not looked for the byline of these two writers so I assume that copy editor doesn't frequently get to speak out much, but it is cool to get a taste of what these guys do.

Seeing as I'm not planning on seeing this until it's out on bluray, I doubt this will get a huge response…

I'd like to see Marky Mark back in the mix.I just loved "The Fighter" so much, and I get the feeling he and Jennifer Lawrence would be a good fit on screen… maybe not as a romantic pair but in another dynamic it could be good.

There's a great live intro to "Frank Lloyd Wright" in which Paul Simon explains that he wrote the song without knowing anything about architect Frank Lloyd Wright. I think it shows in the lyrics…

"Dead Man Dead Man" - Grateful Dead
"I need to Know" - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
"Farmhouse" - Phish
"I'm a Believer" - Smashmouth
"New Romantics" - Taylor Swift
"Rainy Day Women #12 & #35" - Bob Dylan
"Action This Day" - Queen
"Layla" - Eric Clapton
"Shelter from the Storm" - Bob Dylan
"Clocks" - Coldplay

I have "Satisfied Mind" but by Jeff Buckley.
