I agree with the Fug girls: the sheer bit along the bottom should not have been. Some day Kiernan should give lessons on poise and grace and dressing for your age appropriately...hell, she should do that now and I would learn about 14 things from her.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head with that one. It also pisses me off when I hold the door for someone and they don't say "Thanks". I always add a loud "You're welcome!" when that happens. Same thing when you let somebody merge into traffic in front of you and they don't give that "Thank you" wave. I want to just

It's not just you. I hold doors for everyone too, and I have ever since I was in college, when I trying to negotiate campus on crutches after a bad ankle sprain. I couldn't believe the number of students who'd race through an open door that someone else was holding, only to let it slam in my face. While I was on

What? You mean Sandra Bezic breathlessly gushing about how much the skaters feel the music or let the audience feel their passion isn't helpful? If I ever hear her talk again it will be too soon. Terrible commentary.

One thing we can all agree on is that NBC does a consistently shitty job covering the Olympics.

One of the major reasons Johnny and Tara were such great commentators was because they went into much more detail about how the different elements are scored, how many points mistakes cost, and what the judges were likely going to examine in playbacks. SO MUCH BETTER THAN SCOTT HAMILTON (sorry Scott, your back flips

Can't agree enough. The primetime commentators were virtually silent during Yuna Kim's long program and I was screaming at the TV: Is this great? Terrible? I knew the results in advance but was utterly baffled as I was watching. With the opacity of the new scoring system, they really really need better commentators.

That's why I always watched during the day! I would watch Tara and Johnny online (also when it actually WAS live), and found their commentary way better than at night. I would even DVR it if I couldn't watch it live because their commentary was so much better.

WORD.

What amazes me is the ludicrous notion that Snowden, or Manning for that matter, can be considered whistleblowers.

Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I love it so much more than any foundation I have ever tried.

I'm personally sadder that the US Women's Hockey Team just lost to Canada, after they game SO CLOSE to winning gold. #blamecanada

Exactly! This is so insulting beyond the icky gender stereotype. How about they roll back the absurd markup on the ring and I'll decide what to do with the other $500?

Jewelry is such a racket on every level. I'm frankly pretty shocked that a spectacularly successful marketing campaign and artificial scarcity by a monopoly have somehow managed to convince Americans that they somehow "need" to spend a quart of their annual income on almost worthless rocks to get married. I really don't think these bits are based on appearances.

I've been the same for about 14/12 now. Transformed my life and I wish I'd worked it out a long time ago.

I so agree with you! Just last week I was breaking out worse than I ever did as a teenager (and I am also thirty [mumblemumble] years old) thanks to my period. I find my period disgusting and unpleasant, and it's not because I'm ashamed of being a woman or because I have been socialized to think it's gross. I just

Your comment reminds me of this for some weird reason:

I work in a public school and they can bring actual money on a daily basis but most parents fill up their kids lunch accounts in the office on a regular basis simply because it it easier for the parents. (Also takes care of the problem of having a scatterbrained or irresponsible kid who might lose the money or spend
