No one has to keep their boxes, but I think my last sentence takes care of your entire second paragraph. Paying $500 for a system shouldn’t just be “fuck it—it’s in there”. I’ve seen $100 products that put more care into making you feel like you got something special when you open it. (I’ve also seen worse than the

I suppose—months later—it’s nice to learn that the reason the PS5 packaging is so...bland...is because it’s eco friendly. But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s not great. First the outer box is so flimsy, it tears for most people trying to take out the inner box with the system. Second, there’s so little printing

I get what you’re saying, but folders become essential when you have hundreds of items, like on my PS4. There’s no way I would view all items then have only a few in folders, at that point, I’d just use Library view. For people trying to outright replace their PS4 with a PS5, they’re probably already starting with a la

Hopefully that’d mean the story as well.

“Don’t cry, Yazoo.”

The BluRay visual quality is so bad (I swear there are interlacing artifacts hard coded in some shots), I’ll wait on reviews to convenice me otherwise on this release, but, yeah, I doubt they went back to re-render the movie at all. Upscaled 4K from an already bad HD source, fake HDR. Yuck.

The only time I’ve ever thrown a controller was the Meat Circus in Psychonauts. I threw it at the ground, across the room. (Luckily, it was fine!) Years later, I went to replay the game, from start to end, but when I got to this level I just...shut off the Xbox. I wasn’t going to put myself through that again.

Ah, yes, system resources. Good point.

This is awesome news. I am confused, though, about the repeated talk about trying to get the translation to fit on the disc. The original game is only 400MB. After applying this patch, it’s...400MB. I’m confused at how they were having trouble getting this to fit on a 700MB disc when they seem to have room to spare.

PS4 (and PS5) don’t have a red CD laser, so, sadly, without a complete drive revision (highly unlikely), it’ll never be able to read a PS1 disc.

The earliest PS3 models incorporated dedicated hardware to run both PS1 and PS2 software. Later models sadly ditched that hardware in favor of less accurate, software-based emulation. Later PS3 models removed even that, completely eliminating backward compatibility. Things haven’t improved since.

Have you tried Supermarket Shriek? On the PS4 it even can make use of the old Singstar red & blue microphones!

Four player fun is Moving Out. Less hectic than Overcooked, and a lot of laughs.

I’d be all for a full priced version of the game. I’m just saying that this game, in particular, doesn’t teach anyone to ditch single player story driven games like OP suggested. I think it’s obvious that this game also managed to hook more than just whales, hence why it’s newsworthy that it’s making so much money.

I wrote in response to Trollfa stating that games like this will stop single player story driven games from existing; I responded that this game has that in spades, and one can easily get lost in all that’s available FOR FREE. I’ll tl;dr it in advance for you next time, sorry.

How you got that from what I said in response to OP saying there wasn’t a single player story is beyond me, but sure, good luck with that.

Yeah, to each their own. I suppose there are some people that spend hundreds upon hundreds of hours in a single game (in a single play through), which blows my mind. 60 hours is already a lot to me.

Look, I’m all for throwing out gatcha and loot boxes and such, but have you played this game? I played it for a week straight when it came out, and have never spent a dime. I’m impressed with the quality of combat, the world, the story in place, the voice acting, etc. I easily put 60 hours into that game during the

Actually, the new car crisis has become a used car crisis. I don’t want a new car, but I do want a newer used car, and those keep selling out faster than I can get to a dealership and make up my mind if this is the one I want. (I refuse to buy on the spot.)

Dealers are now giving their salespeople commissions to get

It sounds like
1) They’re not using her voice anymore (since 2013) and
2) Apple didn’t craft a contract with her. Her voice was part of the AI project they bought out, and while they had the right to use her work, without informing her of this secret project and signing a new contract, this stipulation would have

Nah, I’m not offended, I’m sure I was more offensive by brushing you off. I get that these games have their fans. I’ve only ever played the Trails of Cold Steel arc, so I know nothing of the Trails in the Sky or Crossbell arcs other than which characters seem to come from there and that they exist. And, I’ll give it

I think I did, but it didn’t feel like they were doing much. I’ll give it another look—thanks!
