Actually, DS4 will work on PS3 if you use the USB cable. After an update (2015? 2016?), You could wirelessly sync the DS4 to the PS3, but it lost rumble, oddly.

I think parksonian was meaning the peripherals go both directions. PS1 controllers can work for PS2 games (almost the whole library, I believe). PS2 controllers can be plugged into a PS1 and work as a Dualshock 1 controller. Only memory cards couldn’t go both directions.
Do I really have to point out that I’m quite obviously talking about couch co-op PS5 games and only PS5 games in an article about how DS4 controllers won’t work for PS5 games? And I’m not selling my PS4, nor getting rid of games I already have on it. So, yeah, I’ll be fine, like I currently am, for those games.
And now every time you think about your own mistakes (if, like me, every shower ever), you can now shut your brain down by reminding it of John Boyne’s bigger/better mistake.
It needed to be clarified because for the past few months there’s been plenty of talk and confirmation from developers the EXACT OPPOSITE of what is now being told. I have a bunch of DS4 controllers, which has been great for my kids that play couch co-op. I didn’t buy those at once, either. It was a slow addition here…
Ha! Yeah, probably. I mean, every time main characters transform, their hair is blowing and their unclothed (but somehow still covered) breasts are flapping like crazy from all the energy. I mean, an insane amount. An amount that lets you know “there’s something wrong with you if you find this attractive, and everyone…
I watched Kill La Kill at 37, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and even gave it a second viewing when there was an English dub. It has a lot of fanservice, but most of it is used as humor to mock other shows where the fanservice is...well...just fanservice. But, yeah, acquired taste, like ClenchMask said. Either way, it’s a…
Control? Unless it was patched in a loooong time after launch, it absolutely did not and Remedy said they weren’t interested in it. So if they have, I wouldn’t know, but doing a google search turns up nothing about one being added.
That’s amazing.
Same! And I found Ring Fit Adventure there for $70 (rather than $80) and Paper Mario was $50 on day 1. Walmart has crazy prices on games now!

Same with Control. I love the game, but the developers answering everyone asking for an easier mode with a “this is the experience we wanted to make” statement is tone deaf. I don’t care; I’m obviously not good enough, and I don’t care to invest the time to get better as there are apparent balance issues in your game…
No worries. :)
Too bad Xbox players will miss out on playing it in VR, but that’s still cool they’ll get to experience one of the best Tetris versions in a while.
Physical for life! I do buy digital games, but if physical is available, I’ll always buy it that way first. Same with movies, same with music. I hate seeing content disappear, and physical is the only way to capture it. I’m not even talking content being pulled down from a storefront during the console generation.
Well, Klonoa made the list, so that’s all that really matters.
Collecting on older consoles right now means DON’T. It’s been artificially inflated due to no one selling thanks to this wonderful pandemic. I’d rather wait it out and see things get back to normal than pay $60 for a $20 game or $200 for a $50 game. It’s crazy right now!
Drop a video and run? No exit post? whaaaaaaaaaaaat?
I do the same thing with Amazon, even on games. Just buy gift cards and apply them your purchase. You can just keep doing it.
I donate plasma to fund my VG purchases, so I can just make payments on preorders every week after donations. It’s super nice.
Haven’t seen this one yet, sorry.
