Actually, the PS2 version of Persona 4 didn’t run in progressive scan, and only had 480i output. The Vita has a screen resolution of 960x540. (PAL resolutions have a vertical resolution of 576i/p.) AND the 3D rendered portions Persona 4 Golden on the Vita actually still seemed to only run at a 480 line vertical

I recall the developers of Drakan: The Order of the Flame (Surreal Software) telling a story about their development where the giants in the game picked up the player and threw her, which they hadn’t intentionally programmed when they taught the giant to throw objects AT the player. Since it seemed like an action the

I’ve only heard good things about them. I’m excited to give them a try on the Switch!

Estimated delivery 2013? Holy hell, wow, yeah, you’re not getting that game.

You’re missing out. That’s a game that needs to be played TWICE. The more annoying characters stay on the sidelines a lot, and the atmosphere is amazing. Really is a must play.

I may not have multiple Switches, but I do have duplicate consoles and handhelds in my household. I imagine having multiple Switches is as easy as any other other duplicate console.

I cannot speak for the Xbox Series X or Xbox One, but PS4's resume mode functions exactly like the Switch, as long as the game supports it (some early ps4 games never got patched to support the feature). Just put the PS4 in rest mode, come back sometime later, and you’re at the exact same spot you were when you

When I played through Heavy Rain on PS3, I found I was mashing the power button on that system before it could save progress. I was NOT about to have that character’s death be on my inability to figure out the controls when driving backwards down a highway in the rain!

Well, that’s it. I was planning on doing work today, but instead I’m now making a new outer box for my PS4 Quantic Dream Collection (that, coincidentally, is still unopened).

Granted, this particular give away was a little bit...bigger...than any of their other give aways. It easily drew in more people than any of the other ones ever would.

Epic, make the game. No MP, just SP. I like what I saw, give me more!

No squeezing in that last bit. That was impressive.

Sorry, man, I was joking. I feel your pain, on movies, but, well, I’ve yet to feel that same burn on games. I can still enjoy the originals, and in new ways. (Did you see the post about 4K Dino Crisis today?) And remakes? I love the original Tomb Raider, but Tomb Raider Anniversary was a really fun revisit. And Tomb

What did remakes/remasters ever do to you??

Sign me up!

Because Japanese read right to left?

Yep, and several would hide this (or make it easier on the user) by having a launch menu that was really a link to launch the correct *sp.exe or *mp.exe

Which is funny, as that was how PC games used to install back in the CD ROM early days as game sizes “blew up” to the hundreds of MBs.

I know I missed out, but I couldn’t ever get into the Wii version because of those damn faces. I’ve seen my share of bad 3D faces in the PS1 and N64 era, but this game always took the cake. Zero excuse for them to have looked this horrible. Sooooo glad they’ve fixed them.

(After how bad Chronicles X’s faces seemed to
