For the first time ever, I really, really liked Kim. Watching her go through Bruce’s closet with him was so sweet. She was so genuine and funny and supportive. And he was obviously so, so happy to share something like that with her. My heart grew three sizes.

I am not really “into” the Kardashians, but if their show becomes about embracing someone going through gender transition with love, and it catches on and makes people a little less ignorant, then I suddenly think the entire previously vapid existence of that show will have been worthwhile.

Bye!

Here for this song and carefree black girls! Love everything about this video!

I wish it wasn’t so unprofessional to have this as my ringtone....because it’s kind of the best. Bey has provided my ringtone for the past two years because I aspire to be fierce and confident (last year was “Grown Woman” and the year before it was “Diva”).

nicki will shoot a vid in the desert for b but not for david guetta. hahahahaha

Basically just living for Sansa’s revenge. Every time I tune in I’m like IS THIS WHEN THE REVENGE PLOT GETS REALIZED? Team Sansa 100%. Showed up just for Sansa eventually killing her enemies.

Goddamn I love Nicki so fucking much. I could listen to her rap nursery songs.
Beyonce is okay, too.

This is not a good thing.

I don’t even think the upset about the rape scene has to do with people being somehow naive about what obviously would happen during the wedding night with a known torturer - it is my understanding that people are upset because: 1.) Sansa’s character is now combined with a totally different character from the book,

What’s more is that Sansa is no longer so naive as to expect that she would have a happy marriage and a wonderful wedding night. She’s been preparing to bear it for years. She was terrified of Joffery who held the threat of marriage and rape over her, then humiliated by the prospect of marrying and bedding Tyrion. And

I agree with you expect what you said about Madeleine. I don’t get Jezebel’s reaction, at all. It’s not unexpected, because this is Jezebel we’re talking about, but how can they not realize how problematic it is? The Fucking Concourse has a really good write up of why this is fucked. (The Concourse is actually really

No, the scene wasn’t actually that bad. My problem isn’t with how the scene was shot (aside from the fact that because they focused on Theon, Sansa’s rape become a plot point to advance his character development). When the scene started happening I expected something MUCH worse, so I was sort of relieved? At least it

Question: why didn’t Loras just raise an eyebrow and say, “of course he’s seen my birthmark. He’s my squire. He helps me suit up, you morons”?

And I don’t understand why people continue to use this as a smoke screen, as though Ramsay and Sansa’s marriage was 1) inevitable within this particular plot and 2) the only way we could have possibly taken Sansa’s plot. I’m not mad that Ramsay acted like himself once he married Sansa. I’m angry that in all the

I think a lot of the problem comes from the fact that the show runners have consistently changed the books to add more rape than they had already. In the books, it’s not Sansa that marries Ramsay, but someone else pretending to be Sansa. They choose to cut that character out entirely, but keep the rape.

Thank you! Everyone who’s up in arms about this confuses the hell out of me. I’m like “what the hell did you think was going to happen on Sansa and Ramsay’s wedding night?”

I am fully convinced that this is the best movie made in the past ten years, for a whole slew of reasons. I didn’t even realize what an awesome feminist movie it was until a buddy sent me this link:

Yeah their concern for my $5 really seems so sincere when I was two hours late paying my bill and was automatically charged a $25 late fee
