If only we could find a car we knew his son would think is cool, that’s also fast and has a reliable toyota engine. How will we ever dream up such a car.

Here is a better one, your welcome.

I’ll admit it, I cried when my dad sold his red Saab. I loved riding in that thing. It was the car that brought me home from the hospital and the one that took him to and from work each day.

I hope you don’t get an endless parade of “what does this have to do with cars” comments, because this is the kind of quality longform journalism which I love to see on Jalopnik. Thanks, Ryan.

Funny - I was literally up all night with my wife chatting with her on whether I should pull the trigger on a used SS in my area and trade in my S60 R-Design.... The thing is.... I’ve had my R-Design for 9 months.... anddddd.... the SS would be my 4th car in 3 years..... So yeah.... I have major issues!

Guys, i’m starting to think that electing a reality TV star with 5 military deferments to command one of the world’s largest armed forces may not have been the best idea.

I wouldn’t limit to age, but more powerful, sportier car should require a special driving license. It doesn’t make sense that the same license that is valid to a Toyota Yaris is valid to a Ferrari 488 or a Porsche Turbo S.

What, you expected me to READ the article? This is still Jalopnik, right?

Does it come with a sense of failure and rejection? Or does that develop over time?
