They get a pass because there games arent broken just messy for the most aside from the PS3 version of Skyrim having memory issues about 30 hours in which they did get flack. Other games have been flat out unplayabl and are often rushed out much quicker.

QA isnt the issue. QAs job is to find issues not fix them. I really think Bethesda just took their time with this. Skyrim from concept to completion was about 4 years 2007-2011. Fallout 4 is about 6 with planning going back to 2009.

Some projects dont even run 100% on Kickstarter funds. Sometomes funding is already sucured and Kickstarter is just to stretch the budget out more for greater freedom.

Dragon Knighr was a much bigger critical success ( though I heard it did have its issues) and actual did well in some markets but was never successful enough to warrent more.
