Genuinely curious as to why anyone gives a shit if a celebrity and their partner break up or not?

Perhaps that was true in the pre 60s and even the 70s but seems like since the 80s the vast majority of everything is multicultural. Shit...you can’t get away from companies bragging how multicultural they are now even if they don’t tell us what they actually sell or do!

Comedians tend to make emotionally reactive people who treat their identities in a manner akin to religious zealotry “uncomfortable” with their jokes. That’s why these writers are non-stop after Rock, Chapelle, etc.

Well (I’m pretty liberal)...one side of the aisle seems pretty focused on tearing anyone down who says anything that isn’t approved (Dems) and the other doesn’t seem to give nearly as much of a fuck unless that person is on the other side of the aisle (Repubes)...in which case ATTACK the DEM!!

It’s simple...plenty of people are finally getting tired of formulaic IP. Sure there are still going to be a core of people who will go see any piece of shit with Marvel (or Star Wars) slapped on it multiple times and scream it’s great (*cough* Wakanda Forever) but many of us non-fanatics have moved on.

Quite inspiring that the dipshit who got caught with weed in a hostile nation ratcheting up diplomatic tensions at a terrible time is able to resume playing sports. Color me inspired.

I am not a Harry Pot fan in any way, shape, or form. I’ve seen a few of the movies...and they were mediocre to me. I have no dog in this fight.

It’s ok for people to lip sync at the Super Bowl. It’s also ok for people to acknowledge that a lip synched performance is stupid and not pretend we’re impressed cause they got all dolled up and lip synched.

The vast majority of us don’t care about whether you shine or don’t. We’re busy dealing with the majority of the same problems but not pretending anyone else should spend all their time caring and fighting for us.
