I don’t think this is really accurate. There are a ton of gay actors that star in blockbusters every year...pre-metoo’d Kevin Spacey comes to mind. Jodie Foster movies did great. Mark Ruffalo is well known for playing gay men in Indie movies and no one really cared that he was the Hulk/Bruce Banner.

If Trea Turner, Adam Eaton, Anthony Rendon, and Juan Soto are “some guys” I think most MLB teams would be extremely lucky to have some guys!
