I’m happy for you if your feet stay nice and dry. Mine don’t, and even in “breathable” boots, the insides are pretty soaked in sweat at the end of a long day on the trail. To be able to dry them out more quickly over night is important to me, and I imagine some other people too.

I don’t care if they’re technically superior or not. Being able to pull the liner out for faster drying is worth it alone.
