I don't disagree with your assessment. But this is still going to come down to Congressional action one way or another.

My self esteem isn't what made you need to self identify with your profession and your inflated perception of the people that make up it's work force.
Came here for this (mostly).
I will do what I can to urge my congressmen to support this(!), however, I don't see how they're going to let this slide!
"that's when I tune out as it's usually some diatribe epitomizing the failure of American education."
Plus, this would have had to have been taken at the turn of the last century, so it's waaaaay too clear, and also an obviously staged publicity shot!
You're right.

Depends on your definition of "significantly." But no matter what your definition is, it will continue to diminish, e.g., people read now more than ever and newspaper and magazines continue to fold at a very quick pace.
Considering the egregiousness of our own government spying on us through our "protected communications," don't expect the legality of software like this to make it to far up the chain in court...
For sure. Just pointing out that's it's misplaced, and illogical. Like fear of flying.
Eh.
It's not super "hip," but I'd call this a regular backpack, with more features, for less money, AND it has a built in rain cover.
You should assume that most of the streaming services will eventually be like HBO.
For some people (large households with varied viewing tastes) the huge channel bundling, and channel subsidizing, of traditional cable was way more affordable than all ala carte programming would be, but there'll still be options for those viewers.
It won't. You'll have more options than that. Content owners will offer their channels in a few ways:
Don't forget Google Play Music. Massive library. Very smart recommendations, radio stations, etc... and you can upload 100GB of your own music into the service. I was lucky enough to get in when it was $8/month and it's been totally worth it.
Agreed.
As I said in another comment:
"Yes, assuming you have the opportunity to complete such an action, that would be smart. Hypothetically, though, you can imagine being in a situation where that would be impossible.
