Trolls are going to troll???
Let’s see. There’s always about 7% of commenters here whose entire personality is seeing themselves as that edgy contrarian. My nephew is one. He’s out of the will.
From the website:
With the buyback in place, if you pay more than the MSRP of $18500 you are literally throwing money away. This might be the first NPOND where there are hard numbers to prove how bad of a deal it is.
This is an argument for more abortions.
A more recent article says that police seized 80 vehicles in total.
The majority of the country does live in large urban areas of a million or more inhabitants (about 57%). Another ~30% lives in areas with 100k or more. The US is mostly empty.
Not even close.
I can’t believe this shit actually goes on. How does a federal court judge get shuttled on a private jet to the palatial estate of a billionaire for his swearing-in ceremony, held in the mansion’s cartoonishly-opulent library (complete with cartoonish walk-in fireplace), and no one seems to have noticed until now?…
You gotta hand it to Trump and the Republicans, they really stacked the courts in their favor. Not long before we’re living in a dystopian Bible based hell.
Also, fuck all those assholes
100% this, and what were once middle class basics are being priced out of the actual middle class, and one of the consequences is exploding personal debt to remain in the perceived middle class. Housing, education, health care, and now new cars...
New cars often come with better interest rates, better monthly terms, and also a warranty. Certainly something to consider when shopping, especially with many vehicles not losing as much value when used.
New cars aren’t for the rich, new cars are for the middle class, it’s just that the real middle class is probably earning in the top 10% in this country because shit costs a ton.
- Shareholder primacy and continuing to vote specifically for quarterly profits via share buybacks and headcount reductions to ensure margin growth? Rich people did that.
The middle class was squeezed to make the rich, richer.
The rich got richer. Not the poor
Somehow every newly reno’d house in my neighborhood sells for almost $2Mill and typically has a pair of new Audi/BMW vehicles in the drive. For the life of me, I can’t believe so many people can carry almost $10,000/month of debt. Unless they’re all doing it through inheritance.
