Buddha Machine 2 is coming out soon. Can't wait.
:( No Los Angeles? [Metro.net] would have to do. Does anyone else here find LA public transportation to be damn confusing?
@forpeterssake: I'm so glad I'm not alone
wow, i feel stupid. ive always read this as "HiGH Five", and not "HiVE Five"
I can't read if I can't mark the book up. That's the only way I can be an active reader. Besides, writing on the books usually gives me an idea that I write about in my moleskine, and I love going back to my old moleskine's and reading my old thoughts.
@helixed: From what I understand, those are prices PER MONTH, whereas the $10 are for 2 years.
@Striderhayasa - Phillyyakk on PSN: Madden is pretty awesome if you love football. Playing it has made me appreciate and love the game even more.
I know with Autoruns you can go into the Explorer tab and look at any of the ShellEx and ContextMenu handlers and disable them from there.
@spiralout987: "but Doc Scrubber can scrub whole folders at a time and offers a lot more control over what it scrubs and how it does it."
Doesn't Office 2007 do this already?
What about just going to the desktop, pressing alt+f4, and then just choose shutdown, restart, whatever?
I bookmark locally. Firefox keyword search is amazing, and I tend to visit a handful of sites on a regular basis anyway, and I read what I find interesting, make a note if I like it in evernote, and just move on. I also don't save my history.
I'll wait until SP1 because, like others, I got Vista Ultimate back in May of this year and it's been running smoothly ever since.
@Tsylord: I dunno, Chrome runs faster on my machine than firefox. But I agree, I'd love to see AdBlock Plus and other addons.
@Darkest Daze: Same here. I think people are just so used to saying Windows suck that they just regurgitate it whenever possible.
@jtoz: Me too.
@silver-bolt: Wait, really? When you open a 2003 doc file it opens it up with the 2003 office menu and not the ribbon? If so, that really sucks. I've never heard of that.
@ub: I was commenting more on the usefulness of the ribbon and not that it was applied to WordPad. Even if no one uses WordPad, at least Microsoft is being consistent.
@silver-bolt: I took the time to learn the ribbon and it's just makes a whole lot of sense how they did it. It's context sensitive, and everything is where it should be. Get past the learning curve and you'll see how amazing the ribbon is.
