That sucks. In an effort to get my 250 steps an hour during working hours that my Fitbit overlords require, I've taken to going the long way everywhere I go in the building and then wandering around while I do tasks. Making 50 copies of something? Might as well walk around the perimeter of this room ten times. People

My roommate got a violation for possessing a candle. It was not lit. It had never been lit — the wick was pristine (it was the 90s. EVERYONE had candles). I cannot imagine what they would have thrown at us had we smoked in our room. That's what off campus friends are for.

I made Christmas ornaments that year with tons and tons of sequins and cackled to myself the whole time I was making them thanks to Roxxxy.

Sequins dress remains one of my favorite RPDR moments.

Alyssa in that sheet mask had me in stitches. They replayed the hell out of this episode and every time I scanned past it, that scene was on and I replayed it at least twice.

That's where I started too! I think I got it at a yard sale or Goodwill along with the copy of Amityville Horror that screwed up my whole 6th grade year. Then I started getting them all out of the library. Kind of in awe that the librarians never looked remotely askance at that. Gerald's Game was the only one I never

I have very distinct memories of the covers of Monkey Shines, Fright Night, and April Fool's Day (I think — is that the one with the girl with a noose braid and a knife behind her back?). Those covers were so vivid and threw my imagination into overdrive. Perusing the movie store was such a kick. I miss it, even if

Poltergeist all the way.

I am counting down until the show (PLL) ends. I feel like it's a defunct relationship that I'm in, but the person is getting ready to move and then I can be rid of them and I just have to wait it out.

I've almost finished season 1 of iZombie on Netflix. I can't seem to find any info on when season 2 is coming and I am getting antsy. I watched an episode here and there both seasons but wasn't a devotee. I love it now though. So fun.

Hooray indeed!

Good luck to you. I hope you're able to easily suss out which is best for you. We all make trade offs for location or compensation or what have you. I've looked here and there, but ultimately it's hard to beat the ability to go home at lunch and snuggle with the dog.

I grew regular sized tomatoes this year in addition to cherry and grape for the first time and they are amazing right now. Therefore, I've been eating a ton of caprese. It's the perfect dinner after I get back from walking the dog. Nice and light with some crusty bread. I may have said this same thing last week. But

Worst Best Sellers has done a couple of Christopher Pikes I think. I don't think they've done any Sweet Valleys yet though. They did just do a Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys one.

I'll argue for it. For "Gee, Officer Krupke" and "America", two of my most persistent earworms.

There's so much time! And so little to do! Strike that. Reverse it.

That's my experience as well, but I've curated it to be that way. Maybe I'm not getting the "real life" experience when I hide the feeds from my cousins whose politics don't gel with mine or what have you, but I go to facebook so I can congratulate an old friend I don't see on her doctorate, or see pictures of

During my last year of college, I woke up the morning after a Cinco de Mayo party to find several new glasses in our kitchen and a poster signed by a salsa band thanking us for dancing onstage with them for the whole night. I wish I remembered it, it sounds like a good time.

When I lived in the sorority house someone gave out our phone number to their probation officer. It was the early days of caller id, and most of the girls just let the machine get it but I finally got sick of it and answered and told her where she was calling. She was not happy with her charge.

I spoke of the scam my grandfather did fall for in the previous thread. Another I've heard of recently is the insane sounding one where "the IRS" says they need thousands of dollars in itunes gift cards and that you should go to Lowe's or Home Depot to purchase them. I thought that sounded absolutely bananas, until I
