Seems like a lot of that depends on how one classifies the difference. I think a lot of these women seek out men who abuse women because they like participating.

I think we need to disabuse our culture of the concept of women being inherently safe.

Anyone who has tried to get justice from abuse by a woman knows how protective even total strangers usually are against just the concept of abusive women.
