I mean, The Satanic Panic of the 80’s and early 90’s was in effect a legal attack on people for being accused of witchcraft. People went to jail on the basis of child testimony about magic and child sacrifice. Pizzagate type stuff is a pretty close cousin to these kinds of accusations.

Do the film adress the violence and murder linked to Witchcraft or does it avoid the more horrific side of things to allow for more humor?
