I don't understand saying these changes make the game "harder." How can a multiplayer game be "hard" or "easy?" If anything, the game will be easier for new players because edge hogging is more of a higher-level technique. As for single-player... well, we don't know anything about what sort of SP stuff the game will

i *cannot* hear that phrase any more without thinking of amanda palmer

Nier????

ohhhhhh. no, i haven't heard anything either.

that was Kirby's Epic Yarn, actually. it wasn't very good

oh my GOD how did i now know about this GAME. Frozen Synapse is absolutely brilliant, but it also scares me half to death and i hardly play it. but using the same simultaneous, simulation-based mechanics to make FOOTBALLLLLLL!!!!?!?!???

Something that you must consider is not just the effectiveness of each type, but also the sort of Pokemon you typically find in each type. Not all Pokemon are equal, after all. For example, Bug is generally a really shitty type, not because of its effectiveness, but simply because most Bug-type Pokemon are not very

No amount of fire or freshness can challenge what a man will store up in his ghostly heart.

i mean, she could be a brilliant troll. i'm from texas, and you'd be surprised how much trolling goes on in this state, even among older generations. maybe it's because we're from texas so we know everyone will easily believe we're idiots :P

I feel like it should be mentioned that you should also not ever play a CRT game on an HDTV anyway, if at all possible. The lag between button press and display is significant and noticeable no matter what, even on TVs with a "game mode." Hell, even modern games still have slower latency than old CRT games; it's just

*Snayales, i suppose

"Chayales?"

yeah, the FFV port is friggin' hideous. lame :(

In hindsight, it’s become rather clear that Disney never wanted to keep LucasArts as it was in 2012—on the day of the LucasFilm deal, Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a conference call that his company would be “likely to focus more on social and mobile than [they would] on console,” referring to console video games like

god dammit, i KNEW this was possible! i had so much fun towing shit after i did the first towing mission, but i haven't found a second or third tow truck yet... can anyone tell me where to find the others?

HEY YOU, AND EVERY OTHER ASSHOLE NEEDLESSLY SHUTTING DOWN THIS GUY FOR MAKING A VALID COMPLAINT: what about those of us who don't have middle mouse buttons? What if we're using a laptop, or our mouse broke and we're using a shitty old one, or millions of other possible scenarios? I use ctrl-click all the time for

I'm a bit conflicted. On one hand, I think all of SK's games are mediocre at best (yes, even Eternal Darkness), and combined with their business practices and Dyack's Dyackness, I really just don't like them at all. AND I had no trust that this new game would be any good whatsoever.

agreed! "on a mobile device" does not equal "is free-to-play bullshit." And furthermore, hardcore gamers who whine about "no buttons" are being unfair as well. The iPhone (and any touch-screen device, really) opens up brand new possibilities of play. Games like ZiGGURAT, Sword & Sworcery EP, and Hundreds show that you

it is *fantastic*

but... but those aren't the goombas that are in SMW
