No, that's his Magic Wand
I LOVE the original Link in the bottom-right, with the blue defense ring, magical boomerang, and meat.
@Wraithen: hearted
@Krakenstein2: Stop, you're making me want to buy a Kinect!
@ziggl: As a matter of fact, two of the composers on the game's team are Yoko Shimomura and Yasunori Mitsuda. Shimomura composed the amazing soundtracks in Super Mario RPG, Parasite Eve, and the Kingdom Hearts series, and Mitsuda did Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, and Xenosaga Episode 1! Though it should…
@SecretMoblin: I'm still reeling about the fact that we actually got S&P2 and the original on VC. I didn't think that would ever happen, but boy am I glad it did.
@xXinsane1Xx: They said there is definitely more co-op and single-player content, with some sort of "challenge mode" probably akin to what was in Portal 1, coming sometime this summer. I may have heard July, but I'm not sure.
I actually did mean the extended cut. Sorry, I should've specified. I still don't like the theatrical cut very much, though. It's no "The Room" or "Troll 2," but I don't think it's much better than Super Mario Bros. Then again, I like SMB more than most people.
@oldman: Dune. Especially if you've read the novel.
@AirmanD: There's more to a console then being really really good looking.
Or, y'know... the suit can't fly because they're only including it as a marketing gimmick?
Goddammit, I swear if they release this as an actual controller I will so buy twelve.
This is the best thing.
@scofield0808: Zelda is an actual name, though, albeit a not very common one. And besides, if she's really that embarrassed by it she can always say she's named after F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife!
holy crap want
That's a good point, actually! Though personally I think TF2 on consoles is great fun, I definitely see how many people wouldn't enjoy the chaos. Halo, however, managed work wonders on the console without "down the sights" or any other sort of compromise. Except for regenerating health, which I'm pretty sure was…
Oh, believe me, I do! Sorry, I didn't mean to be so angry in the last two posts, I don't know what came over me. Generally my attitude toward things is "I hate this, but that's okay, I'll just ignore it and play games I like!" So I'll resume that now.
I get that, but these "realistic" games also include regenerating health and all sorts of other unrealistic stuff. The games flirt with realism only to make the player feel falsely badass, and I say that if you're gonna halfassedly make a few things in your game realistic, maybe Iron Sights shouldn't be one of them? …
Hate iron sights. Absolutely hate 'em, always have, probably always will. "Hey, let's take this fun game about shooting and running and jumping and strafing and make it where the only way to have any decent amount of accuracy is to move GODAWFUL SLOW!"
Yeah, he's right, the game is pretty awful. If I'd started the series with it, I'm not sure I would've played the rest of it. Luckily, when I got into my Metal Gear kick (I'm the OCD-type person who must always start a series from the beginning), I did my research and thus emulated the MSX version, which is very…
