Except that the CW’s 58-year-old audience was watching the CW!  Clearly they (we) liked that programming, even if it was ostensibly targeted at a younger audience.  Rather than stick with what drew us to the network, they’re going to give us the same crap we could have watched elsewhere if we had wanted to.

What killed The CW was ending their contract with Netflix. Warner and CBS really never made any money through airing ads on TV. They made the money by selling their shows to Netflix and international markets. Warner and CBS decided that the CW shows were worth more to HBO Max and CBS All Access (back when they were

Her music is actually horrible, so there’s that. “You PMS like a bitch” is not fine. Her music has always been anti-feminist and anti-woman, so her “knowingly working with that guy” is not a surprise.  It’s just the next step.

Forget this, I want a show about a group of friends falling out after a screening of Tim Burton’s ‘Planet of the Apes’. (If any film could make people never want to see each other again, it would be that one.)

Julia Louis-Dreyfus remains unchallenged as the Best Dreyfus(s).

But the box office has been rebounding. The proof is in box office revenue.

Wolverine and Deadpool is probably going to make bank regardless of how people feel about the MCU. It was moved from Memorial Day Weekend to July because of the strikes, which are a factor.

Someone who works an office job here: I might throw a dinner roll at my boss if they made inappropriate comments about my body, though personally I’d love to have an excuse to throw a glass of water in the face of someone who deserves it

This is a very weird and bad take on this situation

It certainly would work reversed, but I assure you it works the way I’ve written it as well. I invite you to listen to me saying it in my head if you’re having trouble.

No, I actually intended the emphasis to be on ‘second’, and forgot to italicise it. As in, even 54 seconds would be unbearable, let alone the hour.

I think you reversed “minute” and “second.”

Harder to watch than any other Piers Morgan interview? I don’t know a single thing about this guest, but a 54 minute Piers Morgan interview is already impossible to watch. A 54 second interview would be unbearable.

At Tesla, you don’t cut corners...corners cut YOU!

That’s a nasty truck bite. Only one option now - he must be hunted and put down before he turns.

I very strongly disagree with Milei on a list of issues so long, I doubt we could stand to be in the same room as each other for long, but I have to admit, he does “dangerous far-right weirdo” with the kind of flair Elon can only ever dream of achieving.

I assume her point is that it slightly helps remind people there are special raised standards to address guns/animals/why-not-children, and that the cast/crew would be reminded just because they’re all doing more or less the same end product and hours, that they need to act accordingly.
