I like Oculus.

"90s kids aren't as precious about their childhoods as 80s kids."

9 and 10 are my absolute faves.

The *other* Frankenstein, right?

He should see a doctor about that.

How does he smell?

Yes, Professor Joseph Bell.

Me too. Philip Morris did a great thing by finding both those serials and giving them back to the BBC, but his insistence that he has found loads more missing episodes, and the subsequent silence, means that he either a) is a massive liar, or b) does hold the episodes but is a money grubbing twit and is holding them

(I give him credit for 3 years really, Ben Grimm didn't really change my mind, but shhhhhh.)

I have a love/hate/despise relationship with DoG.

Doctor Who did loads of black and white episodes. We don't need any more black and white DW episodes - apart from rediscovering those that were 'junked'.

OK you've changed my mind.

I think this is turning into a discussion on semantics.

I'm not talking about 'closer to'. Matt Smith's third season was split over 2 years, and he only played the Doctor twice in 2013, but he was still the Doctor for four years. I'm talking about the number of years McCoy was the Doctor - 1987, 88, and 89. Three years.

I think in acting he's actually really similar to Anthony Ainley's Master - campy and self aware and barely taking anything seriously until it's far, far too late.

I love that they brought back the logo - that font is '70s-tastic.

Season 24 broadcast in 1987, season 25 was 1988/9, and season 26 was 1989. Three years. Nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Are you being ironic?

The quality of these articles is nil and the content is lame.

Words can barely do justice to the horror behind that link, awful awful. But what I think that paragraph is saying is not that HPL's racism was far more egregious than other writers of the time, rather it is far more deeply tied into his texts. Which I agree with, as a lot of his horror stems from genetic determinism.
