When did this become deadspin?

I was never a fan of his comedy, but I am a HUGE fan of what he does with cars and watch every episode of Jay Leno's Garage. The dude is just fun and loves sharing his love of cars with everyone around him.

Oddly enough, I feel almost the same way about Jerry Seinfeld. I love Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

I should have posted this in the comments preemptively

How about NO cylinders?

This design from Toyota's California design studio is a 'halo' sports car for Toyota and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Will they build it? They did say "FT" stands for "Future Toyota" and no one is that cruel?

7 speeds? 450HP? 50G?

A GM four cylinder that made nearly as much power (190 HP) as a BMW S14 (192 HP) out of the same displacement (2.3L)... in 1991?!??!?! A little trashy, but still fucking awesome! Totally let down by the rest of the car it was wrapped in.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but i've grown to greatly respect GM's old 3800 V6. My dad had an old Bonneville, and that thing ran like a champ. Decently powerful, loads of torque, and it was unbelievably reliable. (The same can't be said about many other parts of that car… the fuel pump in particular.) And

The Camaro Z/28 sounded beautiful as it went around the green hell.
