They were all making a mint.

What is the extra $10 that games cost now buying?

Catching up a bit to the increased overall cost of, well, everything.

Actually, guillotine

She hasn’t done VO in 8 years and the last time was for Bayonetta 2. What career?

Just because we might disagree with her personal world views doesn’t mean she doesn’t get to earn a decent wage for her work.

Nah, that’s not what a strawman is.

that made me mad.

the “My rep speaks for itself...” line is really bad if you ask me

I’m a brown boy who gladly shits on this self-important TERF.

My favorite is her saying Hale has no right to sign Bayonetta merch or whatever. Lunatic.

It’s not arrogant. I think that’s just you reading something into the message.

Of course they re-casted her first. Taylor HERSELF revealed this about a year ago when the first voiced trailer came out: She claimed they never even approached her. Now she’s trying to spin a very, very different story.

You can’t get upset about this Taylor/Hale situation and how it impacts fair pay for talent/devs/artists while ignoring the fact that the hardware the games are designed for are made in shops in southeast Asia where workers are paid dollars a day. If you want to fight for fair wages (and you should) the fight starts

I just want to say Hellena attacking fellow union member Hale for her career being unsuccessful is extremely shitty of her. I dont know why they decided to not invite her to reprise the role but this is no way to go about lose a role.

So the truth comes out. They re-casted her first. Sounds like the 4k was them trying to throw her a bone in a cameo role. Which would be insulting for someone begging to reprise the role of the protagonist.

Hale is union. Stop calling her a scab. No one owes Hellena Taylor a job.

Hale has nothing to do with this issue.  She was offered a job and took it, she didn’t rob anyone.  Anyone giving her any grief is a typical troll.

Hale’s advocacy for VA worker rights can literally speak for itself. She’s been a staunch supporter of fighting for fair pay and protecting voice actors across the board. She absolutely doesn’t need the work, and there’s no way they’re paying her peanuts, and I can’t see any reason why they would tell her the

It seems much more complicated. Hale is almost certainly being paid more than $4000. Taylor’s resume, at least on IMDB, ends with Bayonetta 2 and her appearance in Smash, after being a fairly prolific actress prior to that.
Hale is incredibly easy to work with. I’m wondering if Taylor is not. You don’t usually hire
