In case anyone here was still under the impression that JK Rowling isn’t a transphobe, she recently unfollowed Stephen King and deleted her tweets supporting him after he came out saying trans women are women.

Thank you. Fixed.

Some people started bravely speaking out about abuse they’ve experienced in the past and it’s empowered many, many others to come finally forward about similar experiences.

Good luck Agent.

I can’t imagine doing what you do every day. Know that it is appreciated.

Finished reading and sort of instinctively scrolled down to leave a comment, but I’m not sure why. I can’t think of much to say.

Are they seriously asking their on-the-ground employees to confront law enforcement and defy a lockdown order?

He’s your coach during the singleplayer prologue!

Not to mention Google is well known for launching services and then shelving them a few years later, hanging the people who were fans/users of said services out to dry.

I’m sure Google’s perception is that their service is the tits, and devs should be so lucky to have their titles grace its halls. Unfortunately for them, perception is not reality, their service is craps, and that “too big to fail” mentality is precisely what’s going to bite them in the ass.

Um

In most shooters, if you’re dying a lot, you’re probably feeding pretty hard. So being able to see my score makes me at least pause to rethink whatever I’ve been doing, if I’m dying a ton.

It should probably affect your gameplay a little bit.

But also, overall, I don’t think it matters so much that getting rid of it

Hiding the deaths isn’t weird––offering paid DLC to see them is.

Create problems, sell solutions. Brilliant. Gotta love modern gaming.

Obviously they’re going to pass the blame onto whatever 3rd party marketing firm they hired. Said firm is going to throw their animation team under the bus. In reality, it was actually the fault of managers above the actual animators who demanded project deadlines that were unrealistic. Desperate to keep their jobs

No disc drive = no used games, which gets all the game publishers drooling.

Or they could just admit that they misread and misquoted the sentence. That’s an option.
