who?
who?
Yeah, I hope that Titanfall 2 will get it, but it probably won’t.
Very interesting to hear about the different tactics used by the teams! Do you remember where you read the story? Also, I wonder if I’m an outlier, since I mostly used the same tactics/style with a gamepad that you wrote the keyb+m players used.
Damn.…
Titanfall has great controller setup and lends itself particularly well to controller due to the gameplay. I play it exclusively with a controller on PC and think I have somewhere around 1.8 k/d against other players, and consistently landed top 3 spots at match completion when I used to play it <3
No, it doesn’t. It’s a new initiative. If it had been in effect in 2011, Rocket League might have been an EA game.
“honestly it sounds like you have a lot of bias”.
Sure. having a preference can be called having a bias, but I’m not sure what you believe I have a bias towards. Is it a bias toward controllers in general?
“ If you have that many years experience with both forms of input and still seriously believe controllers are…
The point seems to be that it makes landing unnecessarily difficult from a player perspective. Which is valid criticism.
Still looks cool.
Sorry, mate. Not going to post my Overwatch/battle.net contact info on a public forum, particularly with so many people being aggressive about me not worshipping everything about PC except for the parts that I prefer to customize to my own liking.
However, I’ll be happy to answer any questions about the game and other…
And you’re free to do that. Bastion is one of the heroes that is MUCH quicker to use with a mouse, partially because of how they’re set up controller aim. I do ok with him, but I don’t really feel efficient with him unless I use something like Xpadder with a custom set-up on sensitivity to actually both manage…
“The best console players will hardly hold a candle to a decent PC player.”
Of course. Literally no game shown on E3 isn’t rehearsed or a video. But it was played much better than the two you mentioned, particularly because of the variables involved.
oh, it’s relatively easy. the guy passing in front masks a wipe cut back to the beginning :)
Whoever held the controller for that demo did an absolute immaculate, masterful presentation.
That looks awesome.
This is so weird. Kojima just did a tour looking at engines to build a game, and this is running in real-time.
Are they super-humanly fast at building stuff, or is this more or less all that Kojima Productions have built yet?
Super looking forward to gameplay, and think it looked hauntingly beautiful and weird, I’m…
How do you sell violent video games after a shooting?
How do you sell violent movies, games, comics etc, when real people die from real violence that day?
You start by realizing that video games, movies, and comics are fantasy. Not that they are excempt from criticism, but when you shoot someone in a video game,…
Why? Because a game about playing a bespectacled, slightly overweight and out of shape IT-administrator, or an annoying kid with few real-life skills and no combat prowess (but great at scripting for botnets) would be hilarious, but not worth buying a triple-a game for.
The characters are made to be memorable. Which…
Agreed.
Keep it classy, stay classy. Close enough :p
I HOPE beyond HOPE that Sony focuses on their own shit instead of trying to get in digs at other companies. They’ll make themselves look bad if they do. Microsoft just had a full conference where they yet again focused on games, gamers, and (apart from their exclusive games) inclusiveness across styles of play and…
You really think so?
