You’re correct, but those are two different things that aren’t directly comparable. If X action is supposed to net you Y experience, that’s a tally and you can measure those gains directly. Exotics are always, even with 3oC, the result of a random number generator. If the odds of getting a yellow shiny are 10% without

Over time you can at least calculate a basis for how much something drops. There’s a reason why in many MMOs like FFXIV you can figure out the percentages for drops after awhile. If there’s a 50% multiplier, you can figure it out, hey am I getting it at least 50% more?

I’m right there with you, man. On the other hand, my Destiny burnout led me to Warframe (so good) which is the game I should’ve been playing the last 4 years anyways.

I was fed up with it during the first one. If someone isn’t fed up by now, why stop now?

Even if they say that it is a 50% boost or something, not knowing the original drop rate makes this meaningless.

This game has been the most frustrating as it keeps exuding promise and is continually hamstrung by choices Bungie keeps making. Xur gives you an expensive token so you can get an exotic you don’t have. Limit one per account per week. Mastercrafts are an awesome idea. Guess what? After an entire weekend, I’ve gotten

Even if we’re being super charitable and there was just a bug where maybe the increased drop rate wasn’t going into effect, doesn’t that still reflect pretty poorly on Bungie? There’s this AAA game made by huge devs and they can’t even get something simple like this right?

At this point, if it was me, I would’ve been burned out by Bungie’s bullshit. Which this honestly is. At least in other games I’ve played if you get a boost, they tell you how much you get boosted by.

This is a pretty silly “issue” for players to be mad about. Exotics drop in the game practically every couple minutes...

It’s gotta boil over at some point. Players are frustrated but they keep coming back. The game has had potential for almost 4 years now, but Bungie just can’t get it right.

I’d be more outraged if D2 exotics were exciting to get in the first place.

Pros stated from the video:

I checked out Warframe when it first came out (2013?) and after becoming a Founder, played for a month or two, and got bored of the repetition and generic-ness. Just came back to the game last month with the release of Plains, and have been amazed at the progress. It definitely provides a little of everything you

for a long time I thought warframe was a competitive hero shooter, like overwatch. Turns out after finding out in a silly way, its really what i wanted destiny to be, a fun flexible space opera game with borderline superheroes. the weapon variety is amazing, the art is a really strong geigerish organic alien vibe, and

Yes but WoW hasn’t really gone and removed previous content availability and locked it behind a paywall as far as I’m aware??

I was originally going to say I was okay with this because it’s new content but I just did a re-read and, do I have this right as an example: people who only have vanilla Destiny 2 can’t do prestige nightfalls anymore when before the expansion was released they could?
