Saw one of those in Japan a while back, and it literally stopped me in my tracks.

Not even high-end Italian exotics do that anymore... I must be getting old.

Fantastic looking car, though.

Now if there’s one company in the world who can be trusted to keep secrets when it comes to emissions...

It does if you drive it right. (or really really wrong, really.)

Do we really need to feed the “stance nation” goombas?

You may be right. I don’t know why, but chihuahuas strike me as unusually litigious.

Apparently “Mezzosangue Sporco” is “mudblood” in Italian.

Maybe they’re going to sell it exclusively to Slytherins. How do you say the Ferrari “Muggle” in Italian?

I guess Xzibit is a lot older than I thought.

Flu season 2019-2020. The Wuhan coronavirus seems to have a few insidious attributes, most notably that people can become contagious before becoming symptomatic (which is super creepy). I’ve heard it’s also unusually robust outside of the host, holding on for up to 12 hours when exposed to the environment.

The Spanish Flu is an H1N1 mutation.

LOL. I was in Korea during the Swine Flu (which was seen as an American disease). It was an amazing few months. I could get on any subway car in Seoul, no matter how crowded, pretend to cough and get multiple seats all for myself.

It’s weird to me that people are so chill about influenza.

Super reductive gearing/crawl ratios can do absurd things to torque numbers.

They did a story on a ridiculously geared Unimog here on Jalopnik not too long ago.

A torquey-electric motor + crawling gears + classic Hummer portal axles = absurd torque numbers. It’d make sense to have some kind of ridiculous crawl ratio set

It’s an interesting position: the folks who are affluent enough to afford mid-life-crisis-related vehicular hobbies have enough money now to skip straight past bikes and into the track-day specials.

And is parked in fucking Brooklyn? My lower back is destroyed just from thinking about New York roads while riding around on the bumpstops.

Ooh! Does that mean the C8s will be firing their first shots in anger? Pumped!

I’m a little confused by this write-up. Like, I agree with your premise that access to firearms has historically been selectively granted/withdrawn in order to maintain the oppression of black Americans, but doesn’t this fraught historical record make recognizing and honoring the 2nd Amendment rights of black people

You make a great point. I honestly don’t know. And I think either way you choose creates real problems for the DNC.

“One of the little creeps” suggests they all (or at least multiples of them) are creeps.

I have a suspicion about what went down.
