@wheatieboy: I agree wholeheartedly. I just got an '86 after lusting after one for years, and I love it. I can take it hunting, it's got a surprising amount of space for something that looks about the same size as a New York apartment, and after owning 5 Miatas in a row, it feels pretty butch.

What is it with Every Single art car looking like Timothy Leary's Hot Wheels set? It's like they froze the guy who goes through Jackson Pollocks' and Piet Mondrian's garbage and unthaw him every couple of years to throw a coat on a car.

So, it's painted like that so even modern photographs look all sepia tinted and nostalgic, better days, free love and all that, right?

It's like that time the owner of the Xzibit-customized Pimp My Ride car went in for service and the tech tried to use the espresso machine mounted in the centre console, not knowing the steamer would spray hot foam everywhere. He got totally burned and it was definitely the car owners fault.
