It is increasingly appearing that IDW is trying to get out of board games.  I think you’ll see a lot of this over the next few months.  They had a planned Avatar: The Last Airbender skirmish minis game coming that will probably die on the chalkboard.

If it was a Kirby game getting cancelled, it would suck.

That’s fucking hilarious

Back in the day, a friend of my older brother watched Xanadu while on acid. He had to go back to the theatre and watch it sober to see how much he had hallucinated.

Or Far Cry. Or Postal. Or the Dungeon Siege movie. The video might have been better off just saying “#1 worst: literally everything by Uwe Boll”, then having extra slots for non-Boll movies.

If what I’ve observed in the corporate world translated to cartoon Springfield, his incompetence would mean he would have been promoted several times by now and making an enviable salary doing his job badly.

If their interests are making sure someone is worse off than they are, then they aren’t voting against their own self interests.  They just have bad self interests.

As B’dilliBay said above - it’s a stimulus, so if your family went and spent it on non-essential items it’s still working.

I’m a conflicted over this. I got the full $1,200 as did my wife and eldest daughter, and my youngest daughter got $500. The thing is, wife and I make good money and daughters are attending school on scholarships and grants. None of us has lost a dime.

It doesn’t. Don’t strain your brain trying to figure it out.

Right, most groundbreaking discoveries are not heralded by cries of “Eureka!”, but rather by mumbles of “huh, that’s weird...

I thought it was pretty straightforward as well. Doesn’t make up for the other issues with that movie and certainly not his shitty behavior, but at no point did I think “Natasha’s a monster because she’s childless.”

Thanks for pointing out the misinterpretation of that scene, something that always bothered me. Lots of other reasons to criticize Whedon’s writing without misrepresentation.

I don’t think it is a TON better, but I never interpreted the Ultron moment the same way critics of the movie did.

“Your parents raised you to be compassionate, non-judgmental, tolerant of others and open-minded. And despite our best efforts, it looks like those attitudes may be incurable.”

Never talk to the police without a lawyer.
Never, ever, talk to the Sun.

Yeah, I read the headline and had my outrage all locked and loaded and then saw it was a Catholic School and thought “oh yeah, that tracks.” Sure its still shitty, but you did CHOOSE to send your kids to Catholic School so judgement, shunning and hypocrisy are to be expected for anything outside their norms

I have a hard time being upset when kids get kicked out of toxic religious schools because their families aren’t toxic religious people.

Oh, no! Now her kids will never learn all of those important ethics and principles only the Catholics can teach...

It’s always the short guys packin’.
