Did you even read my post? I said specifically, that part of the article is good. The part that talks about it being used in industry is all scare tactics, and I'm really tired of all this paranoia. Also, if you go and read the actual studies this is from, you'll see that the quantities of bromine involved in those

The article states that "bromine" is the part of BVO that is bad. Last time I checked bromine was naturally occurring. That's moot.

You know what else is a flame retardant often used in industrial applications? Water.

You know what's better than inflatable snowshoes? Foldable ones! My friend is kickstarting some:

lady gaga did it

Have you looked at a nice mechanical watch movement? Way more than $20. Sure, outside it might look the same, but you're not going to get that nice sweeping second hand movement. Even if you are able to get a mechanical movement in a fake (and if you do, you'll be paying upwards of $200 for it) it won't be a nice

This is so absurd that I must have one.

Meh. In college I hated beer because everyone always got Natty something or something Lite or Ice or blech. I had a #9 and was like... wait... this isn't bad! There are much better beers out there but I have a soft spot for #9.

But what's better, an S7 or a Reliant Robin? I find it hard to believe there haven't been 100 cars worse than the S7 in history.

Are you dividing by seconds? That doesn't really make sense, because by that logic, the longer the track time the better the value.

It's like all the cliche stuff mixed together. You've got time lapse, weird HDRness, Ken Burns effects, weird electronica. Ahhhh. Though the part that kept zooming in on different boats was cool.

You're looking on the negative side. Imagine all the sound deadening material you'll be able to take out and make this thing even lighter...

So it meets two more supercar criteria...

I will only buy one if I can get the drillium pedals.

It might be from the relatively futuristic year of 1939... but come on just look at this thing! Maybe it's not a "supercar" because they never sold it, but I don't care. It's just so absurd looking.

I really like the Pandora algorithm and the thumbs up/down. I was actually thinking Pandora should make an app for Spotify... Pandora with infinite skips and the ability to repeat songs you like would be awesome.

That thing looks good from any angle.

Many places that aren't chains don't accept credit cards. It seems like half the bars in NYC are cash only to avoid the fees, or they have huge minimums.
