Must. Own. This.

It looks like someone welded the roof of a GTR onto a C6 and then took it to Autozone.

That's actually a really good idea.

It's great for anyone who doesn't use their tools often. Why buy a dewalt drill you're only going to use once a year?

My reasoning may have been a bit off but it's a moot point. Punch a hole in a lithium battery, it lights on fire. Punch a hole in a gas tank, and it won't light on fire unless there is something which causes a spark. The act of puncturing a gas tank does not immediately cause a fire, and it's actually not that easy

Unlike gas tanks though, if you rupture a battery, you don't need a spark to set it on fire. Rupturing it causes a crazy chemical reaction that makes extremely high temperature flames. I'm surprised it took this car 3 weeks go to up. Last time I ruptured a lithium ion battery it immediately went up, and you can't

Lion batteries are crazy flammable. Rupturing them is terrible. Not only do you get huge flames, but crazy amounts of toxic fumes... and the fire burns incredibly hot and you can't put it out unless you bury it in sand. I hate electric cars... actually, scratch that. I hate batteries.

The problem is your cutoff date of 2017. Use a cutoff date of 2027 or 2037 and then see where it nets out. It's not like we'd only launch one of them and then stop using it. You need to run the cost of the development out over the life of the rocket. It's called "amortizing," you should look it up.

It's actually not a crime. The law requires you to tell your surpervisor, which he did.

Imagine this situation: Someone comes into your office, a co worker, and tells you that one of your other co workers, who is a long time trusted friend of yours, is a child molester. You probably would be taken aback, maybe not believe it.

These are misconceptions. People in NYC are not rude, they are just all in a rush. When you order something at a deli, there are 20 people behind you, so you need to be prompt. If you're walking down the street, you can't keep stopping or weaving and walking slowly, because 100 other people are also walking down

Your math is a bit flawed. You can't equate 1 flight to the cost of the entire program. How much does each successive flight cost compared to those other options? And you're still not hitting 70mT, or the 130mT this is capable of in one shot, with any of those options. You know why you need that? To get out of

Ok, while I find the second part of this article and all of your ****'s funny, that's not actually in the press release at all. All they said was that there was input from design studios in Turin, which is stupid all by itself. You don't really need to pretend like they said all that other stuff :-/

I don't think I could keep an average speed of 21mph for that distance on a regular bike with my legs, let alone my arms. That's incredible.

Actually, according to the ad, it doesn't stop, and he says he won't even sell it to you unless you load it onto a trailer because it's unsafe to drive, and the bed is rusty...

Exactly! Even if it had been made out of plastic, that's not a bad thing! That's why it always drove me so crazy.

It always pissed me off when I would hear people talking about the Saturn Sky and then saying "yeah but it's made of plastic!" as if that was the one thing keeping them from liking it.

They may not be very good renders but they're a lot nicer than Solidworks RealView.

The batteries in my time machine went dead tomorrow :-(

Yeah but that's different. You wouldn't refer to the power generating units in a dam or wind farm as jet engines...
